Huston's parents were filmmaker John Huston - himself the child of the actor Walter Huston - and ballerina Enrica SOMA. In Ireland's County Wicklow the family moved in 1953 from California. Next year, they settled in a county Galway manor. Huston spent much of her childhood at the secluded estate. Her father often worked away at film sets.
